The BeWhere BeSol is perfect to track outdoor assets and equipment with a self-recharge ability. When fully charged, the BeSol offers up to 1,500 pings without needing to be recharged, giving peace of mind to users if the tracked asset doesn't get sun exposure for a few days.
Use Cases: Outdoor assets with daylight exposure. Sufficient sunlight exposure allows frequent reporting (down to every 5 minutes) when moving. Read more about our use cases here!
Example: Trailers, dry vans, construction equipment on outdoor sites, highway movable signs…
Attention: Accurate GPS location requires line of sight and efficient recharging requires sun light on a daily basis (otherwise reporting frequency might need to be adjusted down). BeWhere uses “cell proximity” to show an approximate location if the GPS does not have a line of sight of the sky.
Full charge capability of up to 1,500 pings when not recharging (up to 4.2V, empty at 3.5V). Needs approximately 60h of sun to fully recharge.
On-board sensors: Light, Air pressure, Humidity, Temperature, Accelerometer (motion detection).
Recommended Reporting Frequency: The tracker will send a ping every 15 to 30 minutes when the asset is moving, once a day when the asset is stationary. More aggressive reporting requires regular sun exposure (4/5 hours per day). A ping combines GPS location and sensors information.
